After making this picture in the dark at the end of a wedding reception I wasn’t sure what I had. When I went through my shoot the next day I didn’t think much of it. Then Bill Luster, my colleague at The Courier-Journal, saw the picture and quoted photographer Bill Stroud — ”some of your best pictures are not your sharpest pictures.” This one is all about the moment.
